About

Homelessness is a problem with no clear and simple solution. Based on recent HUD reports, over 600,000 people were classified as homeless in America. At the same time, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration determined that over 840,000 children and adults are homeless during a given week, with those numbers adding up to 3.5 million people homeless at some time during the year.

While the root causes may be unknown, research has shown how to alleviate some of the pressure that basic survival induces. Compassionate individuals and organizations have sprung forward to assist those during their greatest need.
